This itinerary showcases the official residences of His Majesty The King in Stockholm and the monarchy’s official reception rooms, as well as the green oasis at the historic atmosphere of Drottningholm Palace located on the island Lovön on the outskirts of Stockholm.

The brick and sandstone Royal Palace in Stockholm offers a look into the grandeur of a baroque establishment with it´s eleven floors, Royal Apartments, three museums, a Treasury and a courtyard. Once a 13th century fortress the castle grew into a palace of impressive 1,430 rooms of which 660 have windows.
